FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why should I lock my cooktop?

The cooktop should be locked to prevent any accidental change to the settings. Once you select the setting, press the locking sensor until the light comes on. To unlock the cooktop, press and hold the locking sensor again, until the light goes off.

How does the timer work?

You can easily program Fagor Radiant Cooktops up to 99 minutes. To do so, select the setting on the burner you wish to program. Afterwards, select the time duration. The burner will automatically stop when the time is up.

How should I clean my cooktop?

Clean the radiant glass surface frequently, and preferably when the surface is cool. Never use abrasive products or pads. We recommend simply using a wet cloth and soapy water.

However, if a sugary substance of plastic is accidentally burnt on the cooktop, be sure to remove it as soon as possible with the scraper supplied. Note: It is easier to remove these types of substances while the surface is still warm.

How can I preserve the lifespan of my Fagor Radiant Cooktop?

  • The cooktops should not be switched on without a pan on top
  • The base of the pan should be flat and dry
  • Never use tin foil or plastic containers. They may melt and fuse permanently with the radiant glass surface
  • Avoid dragging pans over the radiant glass surface, as you may scratch the cooktop
